1.Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series
Launch date – 4 January 2024
With the beginning of the year in India, the new Redmi Note series is going to be launched on January 4. However, it has already been launched in China, which includes 3 smartphones – Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. Now these new affordable smartphones will be seen in the Indian market.Xiaomi has also been teasing the top-model Pro Plus of this series for some time now. The company has made it clear that it will be introduced with Octa Core Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. It will include three colors: black (Fusion Black), white (Fusion White), and purple (Fusion Purple) and will come with IP68 certification.
However, whether the company launches these three in India or not, it cannot be said at the moment. But talking about specifications, its base model will come with Dimensity 6080 chipset, while the Pro model will have Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The base model will have dual rear camera setup and both the Pro models will come with triple rear camera setup. Whereas Redmi Note 13 5G will come with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Note 13 Pro has 67W fast charging technology, but the battery is 5100mAh. Whereas in the Pro Plus variant you will see 120W fast charging support with 5000mAh battery.
2.OnePlus 12
Launch date – 23 January 2024
OnePlus has also announced the launch of its flagship phone OnePlus 12 5G globally. This phone will be launched on 23 January 2024 and it will also enter the Indian market on the same day at 7 pm. To watch the launch of this phone live in India, you can book your tickets and come and watch this event on 23rd at 7 pm at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
OnePlus 12 has also been launched earlier in China. Coming with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, this phone will come with a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The company says that this display is the brightest screen ever with 4500 nits brightness. It also has Dolby Vision, ProXDR, 10-bit color depth, and 2160 PWM dimming support.
Apart from this, in this phone you will get up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The company has also partnered with Hasselblad for this new flagship and this time in this new phone of OnePlus, you will get a 50MP primary sensor with Sony’s new lens and it will also have a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The third rear camera will be a 48MP ultra-wide camera.
The company has also introduced a new and improved vapor chamber cooling system in this phone that comes with Android 14. The phone will also have other features like 5400mAh battery, 100W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and IP68 certification.
3.OnePlus 12R
Launch date – 23 January 2024
The company is also going to launch OnePlus 12R along with OnePlus 12 5G. This phone is the successor to last year’s OnePlus 11R and you can also call it an affordable version of OnePlus 12. The company will present the 12R with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a slightly different design. Apart from this, it can be seen with a curved OLED display, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.The camera setup in the phone will also be much better than 11R.
The new OnePlus 12R will come with a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide and 32MP telephoto sensor. Apart from this, it can get a large battery of 5500mAh and 100W fast charging support. It is believed that this phone could be a rebranded version of OnePlus Ace 3 which was launched in China.
4.Samsung Galaxy S24 Series
Launch date – 17 January 2024
Although Samsung has not officially announced it, some reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event could take place on January 17, 2024. In this event, the company may introduce the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24.
The specifications of all these smartphones have already been leaked to a considerable extent. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may come with a 6.8-inch QHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to have storage variants up to 1TB with up to 16GB RAM. Talking about the camera, along with the 200MP primary sensor, other three sensors of 50MP + 10MP + 10MP can also be seen in this phone. This time also this high-end phone will have 45W fast charging support.
The Galaxy S24 Plus is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It may come equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and offer storage options of up to 512GB. Reports suggest that the Plus variant will also support 45W fast charging, and its battery is expected to have a capacity of 4900mAh. In contrast, the base model is projected to have a 4000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It might provide storage options of up to 512GB with 8GB of RAM. The base model may feature a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
5.Vivo X100 series
Launch date – January 2024 (Probably in the 2nd-3rd week)
Vivo has introduced its Vivo X100 series in India. This series may include the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. The company is known for the cameras in this series. For this series, the company has partnered with Zeiss Optics, and both smartphones will feature a 1-inch 50MP primary sensor.
Additionally, these phones will come with Android 14, and they will have a 6.78-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Both phones are being released with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, and an additional Vivo V3 chip is used to enhance gaming. The Pro variant may feature a 5000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. Additionally, there are reports of 50W wireless charging coming to these phones.
